A 40-foot container truck en route to delivering construction materials fell to its side in the middle of the road yesterday, stalling vehicular traffic on M. Logarta Street near the Subangdaku Flyover in Mandaue City.

A 49-year-old man was shot dead by a yet unidentified assailant inside a subdivision in Sitio Ibabao, Barangay Basak, Lapu-Lapu City on Wednesday evening.
