3-day TACS expo opens today

CEBU, Philippines —  A three-day Tactical Survival and Arms Expo 2023 will open today at the SM Seaside City Sky Hall.

Cebu City Mayor Michael Rama and Vice Mayor Raymond Garcia along with the top officials of Armscor and representatives from the Philippine National Police are expected to grace today’s event.

Armscor’s Joel Concepcion said the expo, which runs from August 3 to 5, is more than just about guns. It also serves as an avenue for Cebuanos to know more about defense, security, and survival. Concepcion said a daily lecture on the subjects will be available for those interested.

TACS Expo is Armscor Global Defense Incorporated’s way of helping the government in the information dissemination on disaster preparedness, survival and sustainability, making it relevant, timely and educational, especially with all the calamities happening around the country.

The said expo also gives opportunities to manufacturers, dealers, inventors and the likes to showcase their products to the public. For the expo visitors, this will also be a chance to get the latest equipment on a discounted rate from legitimate brands. Admission is free.

Organizers also announced that applications for renewal of License to Own and Possess Firearm (LTOPF) as well as Permit to Carry Firearms Outside Residence (PTCFOR) will be made available during the expo.  FPL (FREEMAN)
